Final Century Metal Rogue
Final Century Metal Rogue is the name of a self-published (through Lulu) series of novellas based (very very loosely) on the eponymous metafictional series in my first novel, Inconsequential. It is a spin-off series of Incon; according to the Incon backstory, the English novels written by an unnamed (in the book) author were picked up by a famous Japanese studio, re-worked to be more friendly to a Japanese audience, and produced as an anime series. (None of that is actually ever explained in Incon; as it was originally conceived, FCMR was intended to be a semi-parody of the "overblown space drama" that's typified by real shows such as Gundam or Battlestar Galactica, so I didn't put too much thought into MR until now).

Metal Rogue is what I call my "semi-professional" work. I'm not going to shop it around to any major publishers; the entire project, from start to finish, has been designed with Lulu's self-publishing-on-demand model in mind. It will be released in three volumes, with the first one expected to be released at some point in the summer of 2007.

You can keep updated on the status of the novellas by reading the Metal Rogue blog entries. A full synopsis of the project is coming soon.

For now, please return to the main site.
